Getting Started with mTuitive Surgery
Your First Operative Report
If the procedure you just performed was scheduled in mTuitive Surgery, you should see the patient's name in your To-Do column on your dashboard. Simply click "New Report" to start. My procedure is scheduled — close this window so I can see my To-Do list!
If the procedure is not in your To-Do list, don't bother creating an appointment. Simply click "New Operative Report" at the bottom of the To-Do column. Just this once, we'll even put the button right here:
Building a Default Report Library
We designed mTuitive Surgery to be faster than dictation. The fastest way to sign out cases is by using default reports. Every time you start an operative report, you select a default report, document anything unusual, and sign out.
You can create default reports in advance. You can also save any signed out operative note as a default report to be re-used on future procedures.
