mTuitive Surgery Release Notes - June 16th

June 16th, 2026

Improved Required Field Indicators in mTuitive Surgery

Required field indicators have been redesigned to improve usability and accessibility, including support for users with color blindness.

Required Field Asterisk Indicators

Required fields are now always marked with an asterisk (*), visible on initial load β€” not only after clicking Review and Sign Out.

  • Unanswered required fields display with a bold asterisk.
  • After "Review & Sign Out" is clicked: Unanswered required fields display in bold red with an asterisk. Completed required fields retain a normal-weight asterisk with no color change.

Sticky Banner

The required fields status banner now remains visible at the top of the screen while scrolling, similar to a frozen row in Excel.

Missing Required Fields Listed in Error Message (New)

When Review & Sign Out is clicked and required fields are incomplete, the error banner now lists the names of the missing required fields as clickable links. Clicking a link jumps the user directly to the relevant field, reducing the need to scroll through the full protocol to locate unanswered questions.

Maintenance Updates:

  • Stronger form protection: We've added extra checks to certain pages to make sure that actions on the site β€” like submitting a form β€” can only be triggered by you, not by a sneaky third-party website. Think of it as a secret handshake that confirms requests are genuine.
  • More consistent security settings: We've tidied up the security rules your browser uses when communicating with us. This ensures every page follows the same strict standards, closing small gaps that could have been used to intercept or tamper with information.
