mTuitive Surgery Release Notes
December 9th, 2025
This release introduces an enhancement to our default saving capabilities designed to improve user experience. Based on customer feedback we've addressed a key pain point related to the preservation of number field and free text inputs when creating defaults. We are also addressing hardening of our application to support security improvements. We are committed to the ongoing security and stability of our platform, and these updates reflect that commitment.
New Features and Enhancements
Saving Number Values in Defaults
You'll now find that number fields automatically save when creating a default.
Note: This applies to defaults created directly from within the context of a patient or case as well as defaults created from the Manage Default Reports page.
Configurable Free Text Saving
We've introduced a new account-level configuration option that allows for free text field inclusion into saved defaults when a user creates their default directly from within the context of a patient or case.
Note: This configuration option is set to False initially. Therefore, if you want to enable this functionality, please work with your site administrator or contact mTuitive Support.
Once the configuration is enabled, users see the following warning about PHI considerations in saved narrative text:

Improved Security Enhancements
We’ve strengthened the underlying security to better protect your data and account. You won’t notice any changes in how you use the application; it will simply be more secure. We're committed to keeping things running smoothly while enhancing protection against potential threats.
