How to Give Auditors Access to OpNote to Review Notes
We have auditors that need the ability to see which notes have been signed and which notes need attention to reinforce a timely operative note being generated. How do I give our auditors access to OpNote for this purpose?
An Admin at the site can create user accounts in OpNote with the 'View Reports Only' (can view attention required and signed out notes).
First Name: Enter the user's first name
Last Name: Enter the user's last name
Suffix: In most cases, select MD
Create a login.
User Name: Enter the user's user name. This field is required. We usually create the user name as First.Last as illustrated in the screenshot above.
NOTE: If your site has multiple customer records in OpNote due to multiple locations, we suggest the user name be First.Last.Location. If the same user is added to multiple locations, adding the location at the end of the user name will make it unique.
Password: Enter a password for this user account.
Confirm Password: Enter the same value entered in the Password field above.
Email: Enter the user's email address
Choose a clinical role, if this user is a clinician.
Select Cannot create or sign out clinical reports
Choose any administrative roles that apply.
Select View Reports Only (can view attention required and signed out notes)
Choose a practice for restricted access.
Do not select anything
Send a welcome email to the new user with login instructions
Leave this field checked. A welcome email will be sent to the user's email address entered above.
Click the Create User button to save the record.
These users will need to log directly into OpNote rather than launch OpNote from within Cerner by doing the following:
URL: opnote.mtuitive.com
Username: Enter the user name
Password: Enter the password
The user will see the following options in OpNote:
